Spirit Week *0*

Haaaaaaye guuys!^--^.  well spirit has been a great experience. It had its ups and down but in the end it turned out great. Well overall i thought spirit week was a small kine fail because no one really dressed out which made us look stupid. *no offense* But at the end everyone started to get to the spirit and started to dress out more. I have learned alot during this activity such as nothing will go right if no one communicates together and everyone is just thinking about themselves.  Spirit Week was very frustrating because their was a lot of problems and no one was finding solutions for it. Also, because everyone was just irritated with each other and everything that was going on so we couldn't get things done. On monday we had turn back the clock 1950s and their was hardly anyone dressing out for it which was a bad way to start off our spirit week. Monday was the worst day of that week because many people was lost and didn't know what for do. Honestly i didn't know what for do also since i had T.V for this week so we didnt really had a specific place to work at in the morning. Also, that day we came to multiple problems but in the end we some what resolved it. On tuesday it was polka dot day. Then again no one hardly dressed out since the students said it was hard to dress out for it with our uniforms. That day their was hardly any problems since everyone started  to realize that they had to work during wiki also just to help out with the penny wars and chain liniks. That day wasnt as hard day as Monday was. On Wednesday it was aloha attire day and it was good to see more people to dress out more. this was the start when everyone began to dress out for spirit week. I think this was fairly easy since we live on Oahu and mostly everything on our island is about having Aloha spirit. This day was even more better since i dont think we had problems with anything. I small kine forgot(x what happen specifically on each day. On thursday it was military day. And more people started to dress out especially the guys, since mostly all the guys had a camo pants or shorts. This day was an alright day since we didnt have as much problems as before. But this was somewhat a difficult day because this was when everyone bringed all their pennys for penny wars and money for chain links. And their canned goods In the end we ended up couting money for the rest of day and even afterschool since we didnt finish and needed to know who won. This day was kinda weird to see a student to put $40 in someone else jar just to make their team win. On Friday was a great day yet frustrating day. In the morning we had to take all the tables and chairs down by the cafe'. but then a couple minutes later they said to put all back. And told us we werent allowed to work. So everyone left, well not exactly they just stayed right in front of everyone else who could work. But after they said who ever stayed afterschool to count money coutld work. So i got to work. This day was very exciting  because today was our relay race and team cheer off. Our cheer off was really fun and exciting. It was exciting watching other teams cheer. My favorite was team 8-3 and 7-1. On the relay races it was really funny(x. to watch certain people from our team competing with others to try and win. Then at the end they announce the winners for everything. My team lost mostly everything besides penny wars(x. no one actually tried to win penny wars doe :p. Well spirit has been really difficult yet fun.. hope to try something like this again in the future.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaye blooogers ^---^. How you been ? ;) Well this week was spirit week *0*..but honestly it was pretty lame, since no one really dressed out especially my team..8-2 **cough cough**.LOL(x ouuuh whaales ;p..It was small kine embaressing since we stand out alot from eeveryone else since only a few people participated. but ahh whaters .--. and my teachers were so irritating giving a stupid comment on what im wearing >.< shit. On monday i had english, science and media. for english we turned in our i am poem then started a new poem >;p soo lame -,-' ..since i sucked at writing poems because i cant rhyme. For science we had to do a reflection questionare..it was small kine easy since we had mostly all the answers right in front of us (x.. for Media we drew designs all over our paper shirt, the whole class. but i didnt finish. mines came out ugly since im not a really good artist. On tuesday i had leadership, social studies, and math. for leadership we had to put links together. then we hanged it up ^--^.. 8-1 had the most since their teacher donated money. for social studies we did grades. then we went over our second paragraph for our essay. afterwards we wrote our second paragraph. for math we have HSA. On wednesday i had english, science and media. For English we finished our inquiry poem. Then, we had to peer edited it our poem and finished up our final product if we had extra time in class. For science we did a cfa test on what weve learned so far in the year from first quarter to now. for media we had to take a test on cyberbullying. then we continued to draw our t shirt and reflection about it. On Thursday i had leadership, social studies and math. For leadership half of the class i was with my team practicing for our team cheer :p. Then the other half i helped them count money from penny wars. For socials studies we had to do a writing block where we had to change simple facts to arguments. Then we went over what we should have in our third paragraph. After we went to the computer lab and typed out our third paragraphs. For math we had to finish up our HSA. i went up three points from before. My score was 330 (: pretty good for my second try but i really wanted to have a way better score. On friday i had english, science and media. for english we had to take a hsa practice test as usual.  Then we had to work on analyzing a poem for the rest of the time. For science we started to began our new unit about moon phases for the whole class time. For media we took notes about internet safety. Afterwards we took a test on it. Well that was my week pretty good. And had a fun spirit week especially at the end!

2-24 ~ 3-1

Wasssssup bloggers !(:  so hows your guys weeek going?..^--^ ..LOL this week started as a downer but ended it well. (; On sunday we went to my brothers' football game :p. then we went to the mall just to take me go get my shoes that ive always wanted ^--< . sunday was an alright day pretty much, except for the fact my dad was yelling at me something that happen a month ago xD. I was small kine confuse but i didnt care as much since it was just a stupid thing to get mad about. On monday i had leadership, social studies and math. for leadership we had to put the soil into our immigrant flower pot. then we practiced our dance for orientation(x.  then for social studies we had to finish up our poster and poem. then the other half of class we went down to the computer room and did a research about the two events we choosed. that day was pretty much an easy class. for math we did a problem with multiple steps and questions to answer. after we got the remaining time of class to finish our project. On tuesday i had science, media and english. i wasnt here for science since we had to take that NAEP test that morning. but when we got back they was just watching a movie the whole class time. for media we just continued sharing our keynote presentations :p.. it got a lil boring doe since we just sitting their listening (x but at least we didnt have to do worksheetts. for english we continued doing our poem finial copy. On wednesday i had leadership, social studies, and  math. for leadership we just ripped wrist bands for most of the time. then we set up for afterschool sales. for social studies we continued researching for our 2 events that led to the civil war. for math we just got some practice problems. then the rest of class we just had time to catch up with any work we needed to do. On thursday  i had english, science and media. For english we had to take a practice HSA quiz. then for the rest of class we  worked on our poem. i final finish mines. For science we got test out how hot our oven gets. then we finally got to cook. we got to cook cookies^--^. it came out doughy since we never had enough of time to let it cook a lil more. On friday i had a good birthday ^--< <3 well on that day i had leadership, social studies, and math. for leadership we practiced our dance for orientaion, then we got some of our props for orientation done to. for social studies we went to the computer lab and did a research about the events that led to the civil war. Well that was my weeek....pretty good, no drama whats so ever .. and what a great way to end this week it was my birthday. welll hope yall have a great weekend (;

2-17 ~ 2-23

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaye Bloggers ^---^! ..so whats new?...well this week wasnt the best week -,-". Since so many people was just asuming random things that wasnt even true :p ..i would say more but i dont really want to (x.. Yeahh the best day of this week was Friday. LOL. Since ilima tried to do the HARLEM SHAKE but it turned out to be an epic fail xD. But at least the wobble and cupid shuffle wasnt a fail LOL.(x.. so on  tuesday i had leadership, social studies, and math. for leadership we had to practice our speech for orientation since its just around the corner. then we had to practice our dance to make it better, its getting dare but we still need animations ^--< . for social studies we learned about the events that led to the civil war. this time we learned about John brown's rade. it was about a white guy standing up for slavory and tried  to overthrow the government. also he tried to have a slavory revolt but it didnt work because no slavory joined in and it was 19 men against the federal government. then we got to work on our flow map poster. For math we had a sub and that didnt go well(x everyone wasnt even listening to her and sub didnt even know what for do ;p . So we just end up taking a test the whole dam class. On wednesday i had science, media and english. for science we had to start building our solar oven. but i forgot to bring in my supplies but luckly the other groups let us have some of their supplies. Our oven started out pretty well. For media we had half the class working on our power point presentations. then the other half we shared our presentations well who ever finished. for english we had to do our second stanza of our poem, it was kind of tricky since we had to use a certain type of litterature for each line in a stanza. On thursday had leadership, social studies, and math. for leadership we practiced our dance in a101. then we went to the cafe and practice our dance their also. for social studies we took notes the whole class and it was pretty boring-,- since usually we dont take that much notes for that class. then we had to share our notes to the whole class so everyone will have pretty much the same information and to practice talking in front of others. for math our teacher came back and gave us a lecture about giving other teachers respects. then we started a new geo prism project the rest of class with a lil math problems in between. on friday i had english, science, and media. for english we worked on our third stanza of our poem. then if were done  early we got to start on our final piece of art / work. for science we finished up our solar ovens. our solar oven is turning out really good, and our teacher said were doing a good job that she thinks our might cook bacon....but we all decided to make cookies instead. i just really hope it works so we can get an a for that class (; for media we had a sub so we had to do worksheets the whole time in class. so sad i hate doing worksheets during media because we already do it in other classes. well this week had it ups and downs but i hope next week is a really good week since its my birthday week! whoop whoop . Heeey bloggers (; wassup the hap?..well this week has been alright.. Not the best week doe :p It had it ups and downs (x.. First of all this week was valentine week(: and i got all my valentines something(; .. I litteraly have alot of valentines (x. hahaha maybe around 6 or 7 (;.. well this week i had small kinde drama with my friends and a boy problem ;0 how great .--. Naah but this week i got closer to my certain friends this week even if we hardly talk in the past. Hah, well on monday i had English, Science and Media. For english we started a new i am poem, almost the same one from last year .--. For science we began our new project about solar energy. for this project were gonna make a solar oven. I honestly cant wait to build it because i love to bake *--* <3. My group is planning to attempt to bake cookies with our oven (;. For media we started our new project on the topic we choose. I choosed chris brown because hes cute (x nah nah i choose him because i wanted to more about him and how he became famous, etc.  On Tuesday i had leadership, social studies and math. For leadership we finish up our banner, were almost done we just have to some little tweaks(=. For social studies we had a free catch up day, which is a day that we have to catch up in class with anything we missed or we can just continue doing our poster. we also started a poem about the events that led to the civil war, which was kind of hard. For math we did a volume geo project but i didnt have to finish it since we only had a limited time to do it. On wednesday i had english, science, and media. for  english we had to take the HSA and it was somewhat hard ;0 . **tears tears**. well we only did half our test (x. for science we had to do our key concepts and key terms for one of the chapter of the science book.  Then we was done we  watched a video about dinosaurs i think..well i dont really know since i wasnt paying too much attention to it ;p. For Media we finsih up our cornell notes about our topic, my topic is about CHRIS BROWN. then we got to start on our keynote that we have to present to the class and remeber everything on it. On thurday i had Leadership, social studies, and Math. For Leadership we had a pretty easy day working on things we needed to get done, i got to finish up our banner for ace. For social studies we continued to work on our poem and our poster abbout the events that led to the civil war. today we learned about this guy name dred scott who was trying to sue the federal government. For math we learned a new process on how to explain our work to others if needed. then we had the rest time of class finishing up any work we needed to do. On Friday i had english, science, and media. for english we had to finish up our HSA. I got a 324 for my HSA and im pretty glad with my score because i got 24 more points on it, last HSA i got exactly 300 on it(x. For science we started to plan out what kind of solar oven where going to do,  and plan our step and etc. My group is doing a level2 -3 oven which can bake things, well at least i hope it will. For media we continued working on our keynote presentaion. im not even close to being done because i have to fix minor things. well that was my week, this week wasn't as bad then i expected it to be. Well have a great 3 day weekend yall' (; .. Byyye ^---^

Heeeey bloggers!(: wasss good? my week has been getting better lately (; i made new friends while having more drama.  but oh whales you know what they say the less you care the more happy you will be. This week i have to keep up with my grades because im like getting my very first b in social studies :/. im slacking, its so hard know to keep up with my grades.. it used to be so easy for me last year :p. Well this week my dad came back from las vegas but he lost money because he betted for 49ers and they lost at the super bowl. But at least he got me stuffs so im pretty much fine. On sunday we watched superbowl and i was going for 49ers. I didnt really wanna see them loose so i was swiming in my auntys pool during the game . then after the game we walked to the park to just relax for awhile. Then thats was it for that day. On Monday i had math, leadership and social studies. for math we started a new project with our box, we had to measure our box and label it to find our surface area and volume. for leadership we had to practice our dance for orientation and make it more better. For social studies we played a game to help us study for our test, then we took our test afterwards. i think i didnt do the best i could because i forgot to study and wasnt their on the first day so i didnt really understood certain definitions. on Tuesdays i have English, Science, and Media. For science we just continued of flip book, and began our new project. For English we had to finish up our critical read. For media we had to do 3 worksheets which was pretty hard but the answer was right on the article. then we got to do a word search which was the most easiest. On Wednesday i have leadership, social studies, and math. In leadership i had to work on my banner, and im so glad im almost done with it. I just have to draw two more images for ace.  In social studies we began a new topic, and its about the events that lead to civil war. then we made a new project, on the project you have to create a sequence map about the main events that happed to lead to the civil war. In math we took a test on surface area, it was easy. Then we continued to put more work in our folder. On Thursday i have Science, Media and English. in science we was suppose to start on our project but then nobody was actually ready to move on so we just watched a video about solar panels. In media we had to correct our worksheets from last class. then we started our new project. we have to make a keynote presentation about whatever topic we choose. In English we had to take a test the whole class period.__. .. It was about if hawaii should make the school day longer. On Friday i had Social studies, Math, and leadership. In social studies we continued to learn more about the compromise and the events that led to the civil war. we also continued our sequence chart. in math we continued putting work into our portfolio, then we got a lil free time if we were done early. Well that was my week. not as interesting (x

JANUARY 27 - FEBUARY 1

Heeey bloggers ^--^ , so how you been? .. Well this week i started rough because i'm really not in the to do anything ever since what happen last week -,- but the rest of the week has been alright.. Well on sunday i went to the beach and it was sunny and partly cloudy, then out of no where it started to pour ;( , a great way to end my weekend.  On Monday i had English, Science, and Media. For English all we did was catch up with anything work that we didn't do for that class to get a better grade. Honestly that's the only class i worry about for not getting an A  in because i really don't like English because its so boring .___.  For science we learned about pressured air, and convention currents. Then we had to do questions about it. For media we finished our comic life on the GLO #1. Then we had to present it to the class and afterwards we completed our maze. On tuesday i had Leadership, Social Studies, and Math. For leadership we had to practice our dance for orientation.  For social studies we took a test but i didnt since i wasnt there last class. then we had to take notes about sectionalism. After we made a poster about the notes we took then shared it. For Math we started a new project about 3-D figures. We have to keep all our work in the folder then give it later after two weeks. it pretty easy because all the work is done in class. On Wednesday i had Science, Media, and English. For science we had to continue the packet we started last class, and we talked about our next unit. For media we had to write a 5 paragraph essay about 3 of the Glo's . Then we started our scavenger hunt on the internet. I went home early on wednesday so i didnt get time to go to first period or homeroom that day. On Thursday i had Social Studies, Math, Leadership. For Social studies we took notes about slavory making the states seperate, then we had an debate about if slavory and tarriffs is good or bad. For math we continued our project on surface area, and volume. For Leadership we continued making our banner. On Friday i had Media, English, and Science. For Media we took a test about icons, which i pretty much failed at .__. Then we continued our scavenger hunt on the internet. For English we took another test about rhyme scheme and rythem. Then we started another critical read about school hours. For Science we made a flap book on the earths atmosphere. My week has been really good and has been getting better than last week.
